You’re looking for unique wedding jewellery, you’re in the right place. A lot of wedding jewellery isn’t really geared towards lovers of the macabre (like me!), so if you’re wanting something more alternative, this is for you.

Wedding rings

I adore creating meaningful jewellery, and there’s nothing more meaningful than a wedding band. The ring that you’ll wear until death do you part. A lot of wedding bands are very simple (some might say bland), but I’m all about getting more of your personality in there.

My inscription rings are carved from scratch especially for you. You can choose from the classic inscription ‘In • Love • Abide • Til • Death • Divide’ or if you’ve got your own short saying that means something to you, get in touch. The joy of choosing hand carved is that I can customise and adapt to make your ring perfectly yours.

Or choose one of my Memento Mori inspired skull rings. From a delicate tiny Blanche ring, through to a custom carved chunky Bela ring, I think these romantic skull rings are perfect for professing your undying love.

If you’ve got your own ideas about what sort of ring you’re after, please get in touch and I’d be super happy to chat about what we could create.

Engagement rings

Engagement rings are an opportunity to really express your personality. A simple diamond solitaire is perfect for some people, but it’s not for everyone. Whether you’re after a showstopper, or something more subtle, why not get more of you into this important ring.

Black Spinels, blood-red Garnets, Salt-and-Pepper Diamonds, colourful Sapphires. I love adding unique gemstones to my rings. If you’ve got a favourite colour, or want to incorporate your birthstone, or if you want inspiration, just ask. Gemstones can add so much meaning with historic associations to particular stones. Check out my blog post for details about some of my favourite stones.

Non-wedding rings

I get it, weddings aren’t for everyone. You don’t want to be part of the machine. But maybe you do want to get something to symbolise your relationship. Well there’s nothing to stop you getting a custom made ring anyways. Any of my rings can be given for any occasion, and I’d love to be part of your love story.

Considerations

Apart from making sure your wedding and engagement rings are totally you, there are a few things to think about when deciding on them.

Fit

It’s super important to feel comfortable in a ring that you want to wear all day every day for the rest of your life. So getting the fit right is key. Check out my ring sizing page for info on how to get the best fit. Or get in touch if you’d like me to send you a ring sizer.

Over time your finger might get bigger or smaller, we very rarely stay the exact same size for life. Fingers can also change size due to heat or humidity. The best bet is to measure your finger when you’re at a comfortable temperature, and get the fit that feels right to you.

Wider rings generally need to be sized up at least one or two sizes to be comfortable. Narrow ring bands can feel more secure if they’re worn tighter.

Metal choice

I work in Recycled Solid Sterling Silver and all carats of Gold including Rose Gold and White Gold.

If you’ve already got an engagement ring and you’d like a wedding ring to go with it, it’s worth considering the metal that the engagement ring is made from.

Precious metals are created in different alloys. This is when more than one type of metal is mixed together to help create strength or colour. For example, 9 carat gold is a mix of solid gold, silver and other metals to get that beautiful soft golden colour. This means that it’s a harder alloy than 24 carat gold.

Different alloys have different hardnesses. This means that over time, rings worn together can wear away at different rates. This is why it’s usually recommended to match the alloy of both wedding ring and engagement ring.
